Banfield Pet Hospital Negligent, Deceptive, Uncaring, Unprofessional, Rude, Harmful to your Pet, Injury of left Eye, Breach of Contract by Dr. McCain's, Her only concern being a so called "Vet" was, being paid off for remaining services, "which she "herself", denied from there Wellness Plan" ripoff Elk Grove California
Took 8 mo. old puppy in for his routine physical, "through Banfield's Wellness Plan"! I added, to check his skin, and to check for occasional goober's or sleepers in his eye's! He was discharged hours later with a left eye injury! We were treated by the most rudest, deceptive, unprofessional, uncaring, Veterinarian Hospital Staff that I have ever heard of!
Dr. McCain is the Co-owner of this place, she has no knowledge of how to deal with a disabled, upset caring owner of an assistance/ companion baby ! I couldnt beleive how awful she treated me, she repeated herself over and over again, leaning over the exam table staring at me, saying "My puppy was brought in with his eye injured!"Remember I only asked them to check his EYE'S for occasional goobers/sleepers!
His examination report said that his EYE'S were bright and clear! Dr. McCain said that it wasnt a good idea to treat either one of our dogs any more! "They are both on the Wellness Plan" She broke the contract, The plan states.. we guarantee that as long as we offer the plans, your Pet will not be dropped for any reason provided you maintain your membership! Both payments were paid on time!
Since Dr. McCain broke the contract, we refused to pay for services that wont be given! There are so many other horror stories that go on at that hospital,that were mentioned to me! Call three problem solvers have been notified,so will the BBB and Consumer Complaint, Veterinary Board. I was also told that all of there complaints always end up gettting swept under the rug!
My baby couldnt even open his left eye until the next night, only after I put an eye saline wash, and warm compresses on his eye! At the advised by a real Vet!Banfield gives PetSmart a bad name, by being inside there stores!! Shame on this one Vet for not caring for the animals, remember First do NO Harm!! I know that everyone says the money isnt that great, so why be there then!! Beware of Dr. McCain and the various staff that lied at the Banfield Hospital in Elk Grove, Ca.
Why couldnt you all have just told the truth about how his eye was injured!! They are good at selling you over priced meds, plus finding non exsisting medical problems wrong with your pet. They have to make extra money some how, along with there Wellness Plan! Buyer Beware.
