My dog had very bad breath so I scheduled an appointment to Banfield Animal Hospital for the beginning of May. Two weeks prior to that day my dog started having shivers, peeing and drinking a lot. It was mentioned in a phone call before the appointment date and on that same day. They needed to do blood work before the cleaning and a bile acid test. Of course they talk you into doing a monthly plan that would be in our favor.

Blood work have high liver level enzymes and the recommended meds and prescription medication. Again I mention this problem. The bile acid never come out complete so 3 weeks in they had to repeat the tests. At this point I am still mentioning the problem because my dog was already have a change of behavior and couldn't contain the peeing.  After a month they hand me papers researched on internet that he had Cushing  Disease. They recommended ultrasound (500.00).

I had to shop around. I researched the disease myself and found there were meds for the problem. I called saying meaning that we know what he has why don't we give him meds? They turn around and say he was never officially diagnosed. So what does it take to do that? Blood work (82.00) So my question was: why did you need ultrasound rather than blood work? After officially diagnosed they still requested ultrasound, they said if this tumor was in the kidney with surgery the dog would have been normal again.

Ultrasound showed no tumor(this kind of tumor grows only in the brain btw), so it was in the brain. By the time I was going to finally get meds we were 4 months in this disease. The vet was not at all competent to the issue, last I spoke I mention that my dog was so bad that I didn't know if he would make it by the end of the day, August 27. August 29 my dog died because the people at the facility had no clue to what they were doing and of course I was tied in this contract. Oh not to mention that every time somebody told me they would call me back, they never did. They do not care for your pet just how to make money!!!! : ((((((
