Bank Of America ripoff Over $6000 in Incometax money dissappeared floating in the mail somewhere Keene New Hampshire
I've had an account at this Bank Of America for several years with direct deposits made every month from Social Sucurity.This year I decided to have my income tax plus my boyfriend income tax checks directly deposited.
But the bank decided to close my account without notifying me of this action due to possible fraud.Someone opened an account in Arizonia in my name (which I have never been there).
Now my social security check (which I depend on for living) has been weighlayed and my income tax money is missing.
I have contacted several different people throughout Bank Of America and I have been run through the mill. There story changes every time I call.
First my check was mailed out on Feb.20,2007,oh yeah to the wrong address, then I was told they mailed a new one to the correct address.
Today I once again I waited by the mailbox and no check so I called again,now I'm being told that only one check was mailed out on Feb.22,2007 and it was going to the wrong address.
I asked for my money to be available to me at the bank in Keene and they told me I had to wait atleast 10 days before they would even stop payment on that check and reissue me another one.
They told me this was my fault because I didn't change my address, which I did with several different people I talked to.
As for my boyfriends check we don't know where that is. We were expecting over $13,000 to be deposited and we haven't recieved a dime of it yet.
All they have to say is sorry but you have to wait for your money there is nothing they can or will do. Bulls**it!!!!!!
