Bank One, Chase Ripoff Raised interest rates to over 29% Wilmington Delaware
I've had cards with BankOne (previously FisrtUSA) for over 10 years. I always made payments on time and never missed payments. My payments were always for more than the minimum payment. I even transferred some higher interest cards to them since the interest rates were lower. My February bill had interest rates increased to 29.4% from a low of 9.9%. I called and questioned the rate change to see if I could appeal it. The service representative was very rude and demeaning. Bottom line was "too bad". I left email concerning the rude behavior -- no response. I have since paid these off and will not let them charge me any interest whatsoever. Stay away from them -- they rip people off and want people to fail.
