When I received my july bill from Bandcard Services there was a reward offer of $195.00 enclosed with the bill. Believing that this was a reward for the way that I have handled the paying of my account I used this offer to purchase small items for my grandchildren. On 7/23/04, I noticed that my credit card, which is held by Bankcard Services was billed by twx, which apparently part of Synapse Solutions.

On that day I called the phone number to inquire as to why I had the entry on my credit card. I spoke to a Gloria Ruede and she told me that there was nothing that she could do as the items were already shipped.

The next day the entry was removed from my credit card statement.

On 8/20/04, I started receiving these items in the mail. I called twx again on 8/20/04 and spoke to Martin Edgecomb who again stated that he couldn't do anything to help with the situation, and that if I didn't want the items to return them. He gave me the address to return these items as Customer Services Center, P.O box 30470, Salt Lake City ,Ut. 84130-0470.

When I attempted to mail these items I was told that it cost twice as much to send to a P.O box as to a street address.

I again called twx to see if they would at least give me a street address. Their employee, Jerome Stewart , refused.

At least this is going to cost me $35.00 for shipping.

I have called the credit card holder, Bankcard Services and they don't want to take any responsibility, even though this offer is on their letterhead.

can return packages to a PO Box

I worked for the USPost Office for 21 years as a window clerk and know for certain that you can send a package to either a street address or a PO Box for the same price. The zone (distance sent) is the only determining factor. Other carriers like UPS, FED-EX, etc. need street addresses as they cannot deliver to PO Boxes. They , if addressed to a PO Box, must remail the package so a PO employee delivers it to the PO Box. That is why their price is so high
