I read a rip off report on Jennifer and Barry Hartranft, Dear sunbury if you can contact me I might be able to help. Jennifer is my daughter and her and her husband ripped me off 5k a few years ago saying if I put 5k into buying horses I would get 1/3 of the profits and I wouldn't have to work again due to my health problems. So against my other childrens advice I believed Jen again. They paid me every week what I had coming then they borrowed 5k from their bank and my cut got smaller and smaller. They would buy 10k worth of horses and they took their share out of the first group of horses sold. Then finally I'd say a total of 7 months my returnd quit. I ask for my money cause I had none. Jen took me my money was gone. Where did it go cause it always was suppose to be put back in to buy more. I suppose they used it for their personnel use. They got furious when I instisted on its return. They just laughed and said I was crazy and no one would believe me. They took everyhting I had over at their place. I lost 1 brown saddle with silver trim, 1 hot tub, Barry trashed my little mc and laughed about it. And other horse equipment. They stole and sold my mini mare, named penny. Don't know where she ever went. I did get my mini buckboard and harness and 1 mc because I looked in their garage and it was there so I retrived it. I know of another dealer they dealt with they took him for 10k. they took his horses and canceled their checks. Last night they took me again for 300-400 dollars and when I said about how they steal from me and took my money and pony Barry and Jen both physically attacked me. Barry threw me down and held me by my neck and Jen kicked or punched me repeatedly in the back. I collapsed outside thinking I was having a heart attack. I have bruised ribs and swollen elbow and cuts and other bruises. They talk about their customers all the time how stupid they are and don't know anything about horses. Its time they get their just reward. They told me they would just laugh at me if I tried to collect. Sorry but glad someone is complaining. If I can help any one let me know.
