I will end up sueing these people , and i dont care what it cost.I had this stereo installed in the boat dash, and it stopped in the dry stack, and never seen the water..I have receipts that both radios were proffesionally installed...Both have stopped working...In the ad that they advertise on ebay says they are WATERPROOF,obviously they are not even air proof, since the 1st one never seen water with the boat.

This customer first of all claims to have the radio "professionally" installed but gave us a hint that they didn't, so we told him to send it in. He wanted a radio right then and company policy is to have the radio back before sending any replacement. So the only way is to get a credit card to send out a radio then.(To prevent customers from keeping both items or sending the defective back in their own time). Then when we receive the radio is it completely water damaged. It was clear to us that it had been under water. The radio is no under warranty if it was submersed. But because we sent another radio already, we were screwed. He all of a sudden doesn't know anything about the extreme damage to the radio. He is mad that he spent money. We told the customer that he messed the radio up and we should charge him for it. But DIDN'T. We sent it to Clarion to see if they could fix it. The customer has not contacted us about the second radio and therefore we couldn't do anything about it. BUT THERE IS NO RIP-OFF.
