Made the mistake of talking with these folks at a home improvement show in Gaithersburg, MD back in 2014. We had a small bathroom in need of remodeling, but I was on a tight budget and really only wanted to tear out the (no longer functioning) whirlpool bathtub and shower surround, and maybe replace the ventilation fan/heater/light combo in the ceiling.

They sent out a "sales consultant" who was absolutely horrible to work with. The guy insisted that my wife had to be there as well as myself before he would come out, and then proceeded to waste over 2 hours of our time with a high pressure sales pitch full of lies and misrepresentations. Among other things, he insisted that the existing shower surround was a health hazard for our kids because it had "black mold" growing behind it. (His evidence for this claim? Simply his visual inspection of the seam where the tub and surround meet. We cleaned it after that and most of his "black mold" looked like soap residue and dirt to me.....)

He brought a bunch of "props" with him too, including an iPad, which he used to show us videos praising the quality of the company's products (but not really telling us anything relevant to our request for a price quote), and samples of tiles he wanted us to hit with a hammer he brought, to show us how shatter-proof they were.

In fact, every time I tried to get a price out of him during the sales pitch, he refused to talk about it -- insisting we just pick out our dream bathroom first from all of his selections. (Never mind we kept telling him this was NOT about building a dream bathroom at all -- but simply updating one portion of it that needed replacing the most to modernize it.)

After all this time wearing us down, he finally sort of won over my wife by showing her all the catalog photos of what the finished product would look like, using the acrylic material and accompanying fixtures we liked best out of his selections. We *finally* had him work up an estimate, which again, he tried to gloss over by talking about financing options and monthly payments. But ultimately, he wanted over $14,000 for the project.

As much to get him out the door as anything else, we reluctantly agreed to go ahead with it, using his monthly financing. But the next day, as I had more time to look at what was on the paper - I got angry with what a ripoff it really was and took advantage of the terms of the agreement allowing me 48 hours to cancel. I had to pay $20 or so to FedEx overnight the cancellation paperwork to the company, but it was well worth it to avoid that nightmare.

After that? I got relentless phone called from the company for almost a YEAR, trying to get me to reschedule something or pretending they weren't familiar with me but asking if I'd be interested in their services. I had to block their number in our phones to get rid of them.
