Philadelphia,#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

As an ex-employee for Bathfitter I can tell you that you need to go over your work order, you see the wrong wall or color coming into your house, do not have them install it. Mistakes happen, but when you file a complaint on a site like this the harm has already been done. Bathfitter has always responded to its mistakes, and always trys to resolve then in a honest and fair manner, if given the chance to. This should be the last not the first place to go.

The job was finished with the plain wall look. All looks plain and neat and was finished beautifully. The system is working well.

The rebuttal was posted to the wrong complaint. The editor claims it was not a fault of the website but either way is not willing to correct the error. You can't believe everything you read; especially here, where there is no consideration for facts or evidence.

I never said the walls were crooked, and my name is not John!! That is part of the problem with dealing with these people; they do not understand English so they do not know what you want, they just immediately fly off the handle. We did not want to deal with them anymore, so we had them finish the job with the plain wall look. I hope whomever buys the house in the future does not hold down the selling price due to the cheap motel look now permanently installed in my bathroom. This "rebuttal" shows how they really don't know what is going on.

The tub liner was not installed crooked; the skirt simply did not line up with the grout lines of John's tile floor in his 100 year old home. Replacing the tub liner would not have solved this problem, as it was installed properly. John requested that we force the skirt to line up with the tile floor instead of correcting the problem with his floor. The installation of the tub liner was done correctly. Bath Fitter's licensed plumber spoke with the plumbing inspector for Lower Merion Township who had no problem with the work we did for John. There is no record of a failed plumbing inspection and Bath Fitter's installation is in perfect working order in John's home to this day. Bath Fitter has been nothing more than patient and courteous in our dealings with John from the very beginning. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction but that is in no way a promise to provide our services for free. Bath Fitter has successfully defended John's malicious attacks with his bank card company and the Better Business Bureau; all complaints have been resolved in Bath Fitter's favor. We retained an attorney to negotiate a settlement with John in an effort to have this report updated by its author. Now John's initial request for compensation has doubled, continuing his unreasonable attempt at trying to get his Bath Fitter work for free. Unfortunately anyone can post anything on the internet, where there is no consideration for evidence or facts. Before you take John's word for it; why not ask one of the 100's of thousands of other satisfied customers that Bath Fitter has served.
