Ruby Lane Customer Support promptly addressed this matter on April 6, 2013, in accordance with our Complaint process and Terms of Use, which the buyer (bentbullet) agreed to when creating an account on Ruby Lane. The shop owner failed to answer or resolve the complaint, and the shop in question was closed by Ruby Lane.
The buyer also appears to have remitted payment for the item using cash. Ruby Lane has no refund recourse suggestions for cash payments, unlike the remedies available for Credit Card, PayPal or payments.
All correspondence conducted through the site is permanently recorded and available to view in the buyers Ruby Lane account, and would not have been removed by Ruby Lane staff. Shop owners and buyers are also able to communicate with eachother directly via email, and Ruby Lane is not involved with, nor are we able to record correspondence made outside of the site. All original recorded transaction information is still available in the Completed Activity section of their Ruby Lane member account.
Additionally, all members of Ruby Lane staff correspond with customers in a professional and courteous manner, regardless of the situation.
Thank You,
Ruby Lane Customer Support

These earrings were received by our client. I requested he update this report, however he is no longer responding to my email.
I suppose for him any hiccup in shipping or small delay for hospitalization is grounds for such a malicious report.
