marcia mobley with bay lake doodles has been donating puppies to service dog organizations for a few yrs now. she has taken personal time out of her day and even nights to allow those of us involved innselevting and evaluating to come and evaluate her puppies for the best possible candidates for their programs.
she also has made donations to individuals for therapy and service dog uses over the years. she has also donated 11 puppies to date to a non profit org in jacksonville florida. sure it takes time to reply to the number of emails and calls received.
anyone who runs a kennel, home or outside type and has their home full of dogs and or puppies etc often has lots of chores to do and spends hours with the dogs and puppies to avoid having them become unsocialized packs....most breeders have contracts that should be read fully and they r created to protect the animals as well as the business.
there r no ripoffs with this breeder, she is very concerned with the care, placement and out come of all of her puppies.

I find it hard to believe that someone had a bad experience with Bay Lake Doodles. When we decided to try and find a Labradoodle after our 17 year old Brittany died, we found that the leading breeder in our area was Bay Lake. We wanted an older dog rather than a puppy, and Marcia had one at the time that she was looking to rehome. We went to Orlando at her invitation and were very impressed with the care and attention she gives her dogs. They are all treated like personal pets, and get lots of personal attention even though she is a breeder. We met the dog she wanted to place, but fell in love with a Chocolate girl who Marcia planned to keep in her breeding program for a few more years. Sara Lee had only had one litter and was a beautiful first generation Labradoodle. She was a shy dog at first, but she followed us around and wouldn't leave us alone. When Marcia saw how Sara Lee bonded with us, she agreed to let us have her. Marcia had just been diagnosed with cancer and was beginning Chemo, so she may have been out of communication during that time.
If Marcia has a flaw it is that she puts her dogs first. She wouldn't let a dog go to a family who might not be a good pet family, and she won't sell an unhealthy dog.
We would definately buy our next dog from her.

I purchased a Labradoodle from Baylake several years ago and found Marcia to be professional, caring, and up front about everything. Don't understand what happened, but you can't make everyone happy 100% of the time. We have the most wonderful dog and if we were to get another it would be purchased from Baylake.

Marcia at Baylake doodles has been nothing but nice & accommodating. I was so convinced by Marcia's confidence that she knew exactly what I was looking for, I let her pick out my first Labradoodle. This was scary because this was a expensive purchase. I love Samson, I couldnt have done a better job at picking him out. I have had dogs all my life but Samson is the best. Its not just because I love him, I love him because, he is the best well mannered, beautiful, kind, smart, healthiest dog I have ever owned. I trusted Marcia & she came through with flying colors. I'm working with Marcia right now, in regards to getting another Labradoodle just like Samson & I trust her 100%. It sounds to me that Marcia is being kind by telling her customers, she is willing to work with them on getting another pup or refunded a non refundable deposit. Patience!!!! Marcia would have worked it out. Honestly, I would wait for another Baylake pup, then get a refund.

We have had an extraordinary relationship with Marcia for a number of years. She is the ultimate professional. More importantly, she invests so much of herself in her dogs and making absolutely certain they are placed with the right family. We purchased a wonderful puppy from Marcia in 2007. One month after bringing our little boy home, my husband received a job offer out of the country which we could not afford to turn down. Sadly, we could not take the puppy. Marcia opened her home and her heart, took the puppy back, and promised us a puppy as soon as we returned to the states. Upon our return in 2009, I contacted Marcia and she spent a great deal of time finding the perfect Labradoodle for us. We have never enjoyed a dog as much as this one and...we have loved all our dogs in the past. Marcia is available to answer every question or discuss every concern. She has a huge heart. I have spoken with her references in the past and they would fill a stadium.
There is no better Breeder than Marcia Mobley.

I told the breeder I wanted apricot or red. The puppies did die and she knew I wanted one from Dixie's litter when she told me she was expecting when I emailed her. There was no communication. I did not want to wait because my dog was older! I'm just thankful that it all did happend the way it did because I discovered a wonderful breeder and a whole new family with my puppy. It's been a wonderful and very positive experience. It just seems that when you have a deposit down and the puppies all die it would be good business to offer the refund of a deposit.

I am a customer of Baylake, I own a puppy, Cooper, a multi gen doodle. He is the most wonderful and well tempered puppy, people are amazed when they see him. I have taken him for his puppy wellness and they all ask if they could borow him, "kind of funny." I went on the waiting list with Marcia, I had to wait because I wanted a specific puppy.. She is always available and if she is not she returns my calls. She has also answered all my questions via tele or email. This report I must say does not seem correct. I have even visited, she spend alot of time with my family while we choose a pup. I am on the waiting list for another pup... When I sent my payment, I utilized the paypal and did not have a problem.

and she is a great person and treats her customers and me and her dogs very well
she had health issues last fall and its a shame that couple of these people reporting are so mean and angry that a litter of pups was lost because Mom dog had lost pups
also Marcia will not sell a puppy if it is not perfect ! so with that I must say that there are people coming here all time to visit her and see her, the Mayor of Orlando
got a dog last Nov and she has all kinds of wonderful customers that call her write her and send her letters of her puppies and grown dogs 9-10 years later people send her christmas cards I know because we have an entire wall dedicated to her pics
and cards from customers and some people have 2-3-4 of her doodles, so if she is
so bad as these ladys that wrote to each other to file a report then why do they keep coming back ?
In all yrs of being here with her its a shame that this happened to her and also a shame that if she had to have chemo in which she did not hide this one lady named Bunny started some nasty comments about her and would not take another puppy from another litter flight paid for
I know Marcia is a breeder that will go way over board and help her new puppy owners she has also given puppies to children for CP and Paralegic people she has gave a puppy for the Baileys in St Pete that lost one of her Doodles due to freak accident
She is much more than just a breeder she is a friend to alot of these people. I plan on writing to her customers and sking them to send in their comments about her generousity and her dogs
