I went to BCTI in Tacoma WA in 1998-1999 hoping to do something with my life. I got an interview and walk through of the school the very next day after I called them. They made it sound like a dream the kind of job I could have and how they would help me get it. All the while not explaining at all to me the debt I would be in. I thought I was only going to owe three thousand dollars but instead I owe almost $12,000. This school taught me nothing I couldn't teach myself at home and ripped me off. I still haven't even received a certificate even though I finished and was even student of the month. What a joke!!! They lied, they took advantage of my vulnerability, knowing I was desperate to do something with myself and fast. I still don't have a decent job and the only jobs they offered were minumum wage jobs being a cashier in a store or something that a 15 year old kid could get hired for. Nothing with benefits or any permanancy.. Total B.S. if I could get my government cost removed I could go back to school to actually learn something but thanks to those a*holes I am 12 grand in debt and starving.
