I totally understand your apprehension about the price of Be Productions. My husband and i felt the same way. We made our children wait outside while we discussed money and had pre-warned them this might be the case. After much negotation, we got the price down. We insisted on time to think about it and got it. We decided the skills they would learn were worth what we pay for gymnastics, private tennis, etc. The only thing we discussed with the kids was that we would do this if they really wanted it but it was a lot of money and they must commit to working hard and not whining when the had to go to class. They have both grown so much. they have always been outgoing but their teachers and relatives have noticed their increased confidence. My daughter was signed by a Talent Agent 4 months after signing up. this was not necessary for us to be happy, in fact it's a little scary. i'm not surprised about the money issue, they do seem to hire cheap labor for the office, but the classes are GREAT. The main purpose for my rebuttal is my beleif that you can't judge the organization as a scam if you didn't actually see what you got for your money. the unfortunate hard sell is a fact of life in our society. i "hard sold" to get through college at Great Expectations. you need to be strong right back. Remember, you have control of your choices when buying a car, time share, etc. hopefully there will be a "carmax" type organization with a soft sell for this industry in the future. in the meantime, be strong- weigh your decisions.
