Bearcat Industries, L.P. SPEEDLINER PERFORMANCE SPRAY ON LINER Very Deceptive in their Advertising. Will not honor any type of warranty to consumer. Houston, Texas
After having the spray on liner installed and following the installers instruction about cure time, i had an empty propane tank fall over in the bed of my truck chipping a piece of the liner from the side. After inspecting the chipped section, i noticed that the spray liner was less than a 1/16 inch thick on the side.
Upon further close inspection, it was discovered that there was only a small percentage of the truck bed that was at the advertised thickness of spray on liner. The website advertises the thickness to be at 90 mils or 1/8 inch thick over the entire surface of the bed, not just a portion.
When i contacted the Speedliner headquarters about this, they basically told me that it is up to the installer to determine how thick the liner should be and that they do not have a warranty for the consumer and that the installer provides the warranty. I called the installer and he basically told me too bad. If I wanted it to be thicker that I would have to pay for another whole coating to bring it to the advertised thickness.
