Beaumont - Royal Oak - Valet Parking Universal Parking, Beaumont Medical Center Valet Company is a Scam, Damaged Brand New Mercedes and Unprofessional Conduct to Repair Damage Royal Oak Michigan
I purchased a brand new Mercedes Benz vehicle for my 9 month pregnant wife for 150k. She decided to have her medical care at Beaumont Medical Center in Royal Oak Michigan. The vehicle was provided to the valet for beaumont for parking. Approximately 4 hours later the car was significantly damaged with a right bumper damage and left front tire completely gashed.
The manager for the parking took a tremendous amount of time to come inspect the damage, and when arriving said the damage could be "buffed out" and the parking company would take care of it. This has been nothing but a lie. Pictures were taken of the vehicle and we tried to contact the manager who had been evading speaking with our agents to take care of the damage. A repair body shop had evaluated the damage which involved the paint itself and the wheel required significant refinishing. The parking manager refused to escalate the issue to his manager and made discussing the issue impossible and became beligerant and unprofessional which is I supposed to be expected from such an uneducated person.
After attempting to work things out with the parking company and beaumont hospital - the parking companies resolution was to touch up paint the damage. I contacted my lawyer to sue the parking company and Beaumont hospital for obvious damage that was evident on their property for which they finally decided to contact their insurance company.
The parking company refused to provide service address to serve them their lawsuit.
My recommendation is to avoid utilizing the valet service at Beaumont hospital and I am unimpressed with the manner in which they support an unprofessional parking affiliate.
