Bendaroos Confusion, Frustration, a Nightmare ordering bendaroos calling their 1-800 number Bridgeport Connecticut
My grand-daughter had been asking for bendaroos; I thought it would be easy to order using the 1-800 number in their TV ad. Boy was I wrong. It's totally automated and you never get to talk to a real person. Right off the bat you give up your credit card info and then the nightmare begins.
The auto program begins to push you into buying more and different bendaroos offering specials, upgrades and free shipping. I finally took an offer (sounded like) to upgrade my order from the advertized 19.95 to the Family pak for 24.95. That done, I'm ready to complete my order; or so I thought.
The sales pitches went on and on. I thought it was finally over thirty minutes later) when bendaroos ran out of special offers. Ya think? No way they were'nt about to let this fish of the hook that easy. I'm still on the line afraid to hang up without some kind of order confirmation.
For the next 20 mins I listened to free trial offers that will refund my money if I cancel in time, to trying to sell me insurance and time shares. True story, I'm not lying or exagerating; finally, laughing through my tears, I began to hit the zero button continually interrupting the auto sales pitch untill it finally stopped. It ended providing a customer service no. Called, didn't work.
I managed to find my order on line, it was double. I've cancelled every way possible, to no avail. The cust service ph. # has changed three times but can't get a human on the line. My letters and emails are ignored long enough to charge me $65.00 for product I didn't order and, by the way, haven't recieved.
