Benny Boyd Dodge/Chrysler Dishonest, lying car dealership and service department. Rip-off! Lampasas Texas
We spent over $3600.00 to have the transmission replaced in our 95' Caravan. Soon after we brought it home, the entire front end would vibrate and shake. We took it to a local repair man who at no charge, inspected the problem and determined that the transmission was not correctly aligned.
We took it back to Benny Boyd who in turn, lied and told us the engine mounts were bad then proceeded to charge us $40.00 for that assesment (did not tell us they were going to charge just to look at it). Not only did they incorrectly fix the original problem, but because of their error, the engine mounts wore out.
They were absolutely rude, they lied, and they acted like redneck know it all jerks. Not only am I pursuing legal action but I want anyone who is thinking of purchasing a car from them or getting there car serviced at Benny Boyd to know that you are making an enormous mistake.
