I recently moved to Benson Arizona and I went to the Benson post office to transfer my mail from Willcox to Benson the postal worker was quite rude to me and I have a disability and I told her I can't be going back and forth 20 * to open a post office box? that I just need to transfer my mail from Willcox Arizona post office to Benson Arizona post office because I get a lot of bills and I get a lot of government mail to my address she told me that I need to bring in a passport and 2 certified letters stating who I am and stating where I live?

I was like no I said I never had to do this for the other post offices that I do business with. She goes well this is what America's government wants us to do now? I told her we didn't become communist,? I just need to transfer my mail and I don't need to certify proof who I am I said you're allowing illegal immigrants to come into our country without checking their IDs why you harassing American citizens? she got really nasty with me and and the government officials should fire her because she's harassing American citizens trying to forward their mail to their new address.

This happened today Friday May 15th 2020 at roughly 9 a.m. it was the lady on the far right hand postal check out desk. That I've been too 5 times trying to switch my mail and she just won't help me out and she refuses to give me service so when the government tries to get in touch with me you can blame her for not doing her job by letting me transfer my mail. You would think America has become a communist country after speaking to this person who does not want to do her job with the government.

Actually what she told you is the requirements. You can go to usps.com, search for PO Boxes and get the information as to how to get one and what you need to show to get one. Not sure when you got your last box but sometimes ID requirements change as the government makes new laws. I would say if there was any harassment it was on both sides. She works there, you don't. She knows what's needed more than you do. Also your disability has nothing to do with the situation so why mention it?

Yes I work for USPS but not in Arizona.
