Best Buy ripoff fraud business rip-off scam dirt bags liars Calais Maine
I bought a CDRW DRive around xmas/ it had a $20 rebate from best buy and another $30 rebate from the mfg.
I sent everything in 2 days after my purchase, everything correctly.
It is March 24th so I called to see the status. They told me they never received my rebate request, both companies.
That is a lie. The girl I spoke to told me to fax it right back to her and they would see if they could process it.
So right after speaking with her I faxed all my copies to her. I have not heard a word from Best Buy. I called the Mfg Digital Reseach and guess what? they said the same thing, but the girl I spoke to there was very rude and gave me a fax # that did not even work.
This is false advertizing and they should not get away with it.
I will never buy anything from this store again. There are plenty of other stores that offer computer equip and that is where I will take my business.

I mean sheesh! It's always the businesses fault that things don't make it to them, right? I mean, there's never mail theft or misplacement in this world. Call the manufacturer again and bug them until they get you your refund. Call Best Buy and speak to a supervisor not just an agent. Sometimes it can take up to several days for a fax to make it to an agents desk, I know because it was that way when I worked on call floors. Take a deep breath and understand that sometimes mistakes are made. It's not always Best Buy's fault. If you talk to them enough (supervisors) they will get the wheels in motion. This is all I can say to help.
