Best Buy has very poor customer service - I bought a 50" plasma TV along with an expensive extended warranty.  Sure enough, TV went out. they are consistently booked out 2+ weeks for even first service call (Now, what does this tell you?) Then when they come out, they often guess at part (this the technician told me) and you wait for it to be ordered and delivered then you wait additional 2+ weeks and "hope" it will work.  Well, it didn't...process was repeated, waiting time was repeated, another part was ordered, and again did not work. I am going on two months now and they are still refusing to replace in spite of my warranty...they are again going to repeat process of guessing at part - and repeating all this waiting process...I am coming up on number six service call and the technician admitted he doesn't know what to do.  I believe this to be an outrage.  As I look at the flooding of complaints about Best Buy here and other places, I see I am not alone.

Someone has got to get Best Buy to wake up.  Neighbors and friends are behind me and I will hand out fliers, make a Better Business Bureau complaint and in time through word of mouth, perhaps Best Buy will wake up...or end up as Circuit City did.  You cannot treat people this way and expect a good reputation.  When talking to agents, there speech is obviously canned and statements like "We understand your frustration" truly means nothing...what they really mean is too bad, so sad, perhaps you would like a jar of vasoline cuz you've just been S________D.

If you have had similar experience I urge you to register complaint, contact TV and radio stations, file reports, hand out flyers, whatever it takes.  All attempts with Best Buy have been in vain to resolve this matter...They truly don't care.

Unfortunately all of this procedure is covered by your warranty. They have to determine that the TV is not repairable before they will replace the TV>

That's just how warranties work.

I'm not sure what you are expecting?
