Best Buy has a 30 day return policy.. If it had only been 15 days there is no reason they would not take it back. If you somehow received a bad egg of an employee take it up the chain! The return policy is on the back of every receipt and it would be against policies if they did not honor it. Now unless it was physically abused or altered which I'm assuming it was not they had no right to refuse you. I would suggest speaking to the GM of the store or contacting corporate.
