Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have been trying to resolve an issue regarding my Rebate for a Norcent CD burner that I purchased on 6-16-03. As of today 10/21/03 I have tried all reasonable means to resolve this issue. I intend to protest in front the store displaying the name and phone numbers of the CEO Bradbury H. Anderson. Perhaps I, along with others, can convince him that the practices regarding rebates are at the very least, deceptive, and possibly criminal.

I also intend to distribute information regarding my attempts to resolve this issue with this company and the many concerns of countless others in my situation.

I have been unable to resolve this issue through my own efforts; perhaps making others aware of this will be helpful. I have spent countless hours trying to get my $30 rebate. Until this purchase I have always been extremely satisfied with Best Buys' prices and excellent in store service. I have spent thousands of dollars at Best Buy and have been satisfied with every purchase except this one. I considered myself a loyal customer, but unfortunately I feel that I have been betrayed. I am very disappointed, and have found through my research that I am not alone in my endeavor to claim a rebate from Best Buy or one of its suppliers.

Unless I am otherwise informed I believe I have sufficient evidence to make a formal complaint to the FTC, The SC Attorney General, and the BBB. However, I feel my protest will be most effective in bringing resolve to my issue, and possibly help others avoid the same situation. The efforts of the customer service department have been uncompassionate and indifferent. Although a company with $20 Billion in sales may be unconcerned with an insignificant rebate issue (which is clear through its inaction), I can assure you that I will continue to make all reasonable efforts to seek resolution.

I have sent a letter similar to this in my last attempt to resolve the issue of my unpaid rebate. If this issue is not resolved I will post the business and personal phone numbers of the CEO Bradbury H. Anderson and the CFO Darren R. Jackson, both residents of Minnesota. If you have any unresolved issues with Best Buy that have not been solved through reasonable efforts, I urge you to protest in front of their store displaying the names and phone numbers of the CEO and CFO.
