At first it seemed this guy was honest. I bought a website from him on ebay. I agreed to buy one year of hosting from his website because he promised me full support for the website if I hosted it with his company. Read email below:

Hi Mark,

we offer full support and will try our best to make any changes you may need done to it, as things can be added to the site easily by editing one or two files, so depending on what you are looking done we should be able to do it for you ok

I thought, well I will let this go and see what happens. I asked for very few changes and answers and received none of the answers I needed. I was practically begging for him to reciprocate with positive feedback on eBay as I had promptly left for him but that never happened either. I asked and asked about these simple answers but nothing.

I then proceeded with a refund claim through PayPal and that went nowhere as this Louis or whatever alias he is using at the time refused refund and PayPal as usual were their a pile of limpdicks.

Any webhosting company (or reseller) that does not offer a refund policy like this guy, stay as far away from them as you can and get a real hosting company.

Ever since I tried to get a refund, this guy has refused to give me any service at all aside from the hosting with ZERO support. No communication at all.

I was also unimpressed with the fact that I got so many emails signed with different names from this so called company amd it was obvious they were all written by the same person.

Read the two above, one signed by John, the other by louis, now read the one below signed by melissa and see if they look exactly alike to you.....ok?:

One more comment, I noticed one useful neutral reply on his eBay feedback that sums it all up. It refers to the exact website which he sold to me and has continued to keep pumping them out with no end in site:

waste of time. Blogs use nofollow tags. Search engines will not rate your site

the domain you mention was not registered to you, but was registered to a person in Jakarta.

It seems "besthostingintheworld.com" is registered to "domainsbyproxy.com" but they weren't smart enough when it came to registering the domain you paid for.

Here's the information:

I would't hold your breath about getting your money back but you can certainly try.

You should use prudent caution when doing business with any business that purchases a domain name by proxy. When the domain name of a business is registered to "domainsbyproxy.com" or some other domain name proxy service,you should, in my opinion, ask yourself why the owner doesn't want you to know who he/she is or how to be contacted. There is a reason that the person who owns the business does not want people to be able to find out who registered the domain name and uses proxy services rather than the major domain registrars - they require the domain purchaser's information to be listed so that anyone doing a "whois" can find out who owns the domain.

In this case, the domain name owner is in Jakarta.

Just an update on "besthostingintheworld", I recently pointed out that service and professionalism was lacking in my dealings with "besthostingintheworld".

Now this complaint includes theft. Now the individual, whoever he is that runs this outfit saw my complaint at RipOffReport, emailed me this comment "That wasnt very bright of you" and has taken my page off his server. I cannot even control my domain name now.

If you go to what was my page articlexposure.com you will see that it now reads "This Account Has Been Suspended".

I not only paid him for the site and the domain name but also one full year of hosting.

It is clear to see now what quality of individual this person is and what kind of business he runs. No communication at all until he sees this complaint. He retaliates by removing something I own and which he collected payment for. I suppose he feels he can dictate and alter his terms as he pleases.

Yes folks, the individual that runs "besthostingintheworld" is nothing more to me at this point than a common thief. He has no right at all to suspend my account now or ever on his server as I did nothing to violate any terms.

If he no longer wants to host the page I rightfully own then he should properly refund my money and give me back control of the domain I own and a full backup of my site. If he wants to run a two bit business then he should be prepared to take complaints.

Here is their long list of policies, none of which I violated:

*Violations and attempted violations of system & network security. Or any type of tampering with the system with the purpose to inflict harm. No Gaming script sites allowed.
