Big Ben Rental And Sales This company tried to sell me a used bunk bed at the regular price. Ripoff Baton Rouge Louisiana
My husband and I went into this store to purchase a bunk bed for my two year son. We saw a bed on the showroom floor that we liked. We told the salesperson which bed we liked and she proceeded with the paper work. We were never told that the bed we were gonna get was the actual bed on the showroom floor.After the bed was delivered to my home, I realized that parts were missing on the bed. There also scratches and stickers from the previous owner. I looked on my invoice and that is where I noticed that the bed was "used". The original price after financing was $1038.96 which was to be paid in fifty weeks. After I realized that the bed was used I went back into the store and ask about the condition of the bed. I told them I wanted a new bed. The manager of the store told me that they didn't sale the the bed anymore,that this was the last one. She knew I was very upset she changed all the pricing to " satisfy" me. Now the total price after finacing is only $299.88. I did keep the bed only because my son liked it and noone else had a bed like this. The problem is that this should be illegal to sale used furniture at regular price. If I hadn't went back into that store I would be paying regular price.
