Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Big City Marketing took my money and ran.  I hired them for lead generation in my specific industry.  They claimed to have a ton of experience in getting internet leads that my sales team would then follow up on.  These leads were "double opt-in" leads meaning a potential customer fills out a form online, they are then sent an email and they again respond to the email verifying they are interested in my service.

They gave me a lot of leads... tens of thousands.  The problem was that my sales team could not covert these leads because many people were DEAD or the phone numbers were businesses.  HMM, wonder how a dead person can fill out a form on the internet?  When the sales team mentioned to the potential customer that they were following up on a form the customer filled out online expressing interest, nobody recalled filling out a form.

I then thought, well maybe it's my sales team that is the problem.  So I then spent more money to employ THEIR sales team (subcontracted) to try and sell to these leads.  Perfect scenario right?  Their sales team and their leads!  THEY HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEMS THAT MY TEAM DID!  Leads were completely uninterested, DEAD or it was a business.  Their sales team converted ZERO sales after making THOUSANDS of phone calls.  I was told by using their sales team I would see 175-400 deals a month.  HA!  What a joke!!  Again ...they sold ZERO!  NONE!  ZILCH!!

I continued to bring this to the attention of Milton Douglas (if that is his real name) and I continued to receive excuse after excuse.  I requested my money back and was told "sorry no refunds".

Here's the icing on the cake.....Milton told me we needed to offer a "promotion" to help with the sale so he arranged a free vacation certificate to offer with the sale.  It was a free 4 days and 3 nights in Mexico among other places.  You obviously have to attend a time share pitch with it.  Funny thing....I tried to redeem it myself this morning and the company you have to call for reservations would not redeem it as they did not offer it and were not sure where it came from... SHOCKING!

Thanks for the ripoff Big City Marketing.  Buyers beware.  This company will tell you what you want to hear....do yourself a favor and move on.
