You'd better specifically state you want all 4 brakes checked when you ask them to check your brakes.

They didn't bother to look at the rear brakes, which had become locked in a position such that they were always applying pressure to the rotors whether your foot was on the brake or not.  Apparently this was because the emergency brake cable was stuck.  You'd think maybe if they missed this once, okay, but nope--these Einsteins missed it twice!  It should have been a huge red flag when the rotors needed replaced again just a few months later.  So here I was driving up and down steep mountainous roads, not to mention over the mountain passes with brakes that I thought were safe, only they could have cost me my life.  The excessive wear on the rears caused the front brakes to wear out really fast as well.  You'd think that would have been a big clue for these geniuses, too.  But you'd be wrong.   Then, of course, there was the new tire-shaped dent in my vehicle, which of course, they deny having anything to do with (sadly, we paid them to put new tires on as well).  When these things were brought to the attention of the manager, he was pretty reasonable.  Unfortunately, he had to bring the owner in on the discussion, at which point things got worse.  He was an unbelievable jerk.  Rude, condescending, dismissive.  After he blew me off and walked off, the manager at least offerred to use a tool to pull out the dent.  When they found the tool they would call me back.  Of course, that never happened.

So $1400 later and plus one dent, I had to take my vehicle to another shop, where, if you can believe it, they found the stuck emergency brake, fixed it and no problems since!  Amazing what you can do if you engage your brain, huh?  Of course, by this time, the rotors had to be replaced AGAIN.  As an aside, their "better" tires wear out more quickly than other comparable tires I have put on this vehicle.  Since changing to a better tire, getting much, much more mileage out of them.  Well, suffice it to say, there are at least 3 vehicles that will never go there for tires, brakes or ANYTHING ever again.
