Bill and Betty Hooten, aka Lighthouse Management, are the worst property management company in Kissimmee,they repair nothing, they charge for services they do not perform, the properties they manage fall into such a state of disrepair as to be uninhabitable, and unsafe, whenever they are asked to repair anything they tell you that it is not repairable, or that they do not own equipment necessary to make the repairs, they charge for lawn services that they do not perform. Jerry Jevic has used them to manage his property in Oak Island cove, every appliance and piece of furniture in the house was in disrepair or completely broken when we moved in,
there were mice living in the broken sleeper sofa in the garage, the refrigerator was missing all but one shelf, all bookshelves were broken and it leaked water all over the floor, we requested it be replaced, were told "Jerry will not fix anything or replace anything." This was the answer we got for broken stove, garbage disposal and washer and dryer,we replaced all of these items at our own expense. The pool was leaking 6 inches of water a day, The Hootens'and Jerry' s response,"it can't be fixed, just keep adding water." We had a different pool company come in and it was repaired in an afternoon.
The banister has been falling off for three years, Bill came one time and did not fix it. The water from the pool leaked for so many years, the backyard became a marsh and water leaked into the foundation and into the house, causing the carpets and baseboard to grow mold, the carpets are cheap builder grade and 13 years old, the Hootens placed filthy area rugs all over to hide moldy carpeting. The ac system was originally a dual zone system, the Hootens "fixed" the ac, by taking out one heat pump entirely and never replacing it,
leaving the upstairs without heat or air conditioning and the lone remaining unit had to work twice as hard to cover t he whole house, electric bills are always over $700 a month. The Hootens were required to provide pest control, this was never done, their pool services left the pool broken, their lawn services had the HOA sending angry letters all the time, every piece of furniture in the house was broken, we replaced it all at our own expense, towels, linens, etc, were 13 years old and poor quality to begin with, the entertainment armoire in the family room had rusty nails sticking out, and the doors fell off.
Lighthouse Management, Bill and Betty Hooten, are the worst property managers in Florida, Jerry Jevic has been paying them to act as his agents, which makes him equally responsible, do not rent from them and unless you get it for a song, you would be foolish to buy this property, 2805 Playing Otter Ct. It has not been properly maintained for a decade, as His own property managers will tell you "Gerry Doesn't fix anything", and neither do they.
