Bill Me Later promises no interest, no payments for six months on approved  purchases.

In my case Bill Me Later was charging me interest and payments on purchases that were set for no interest and no payments for six months. The purchases were approved for deferred payment and my account indicated that to be the fact. I had to call them and tell them  to which they had no rational explanation.

I owed nothing untill September but they were charging me monthly PLUS a "late fee" so I called them and showed them I was paid up for the present and I did not owe them till September and joker on customer service offered to refund the late fee and and I didn't owe any payments untill September but couldn't answer the question why they were charging me monthly payments and interest when it was not even due untill September and September was months away.  So I paid off what I did not even owe them yet and I quit them.

Their accounting is shady in my opinion and it's just another bogus financial operation that treats their clientele like dirt. I recommend you don't get involved; you will need to watch them like a hawk and it appears they play this little game untill you catch them.

Bill Me Later is promoted by Paypal and is apparently a subsidiary of Paypal. They share financial data and access to a customer's bank account and Paypal account.

Bill Me Later offers no interest, no payment for six months when a buyer makes an online purchase of a certain dollar  amount; In my case it was any purchase over $98, would not be due or accrue interest for six months.

When you use Paypal to pay for a purchase, you can "assign" that purchase amount to Bill Me Later and supposedly get the no interest no payment deal for six months. In that case, you can make your payment to Bill Me Later when the time comes that you owe Bill Me Later, by using your Paypal balance or your bank account.

Your Paypal account displays what you owe to Bill Me Later, how much and when so that you can simply pay what you owe when it's due.

BUT

The dollar amounts and dates due displayed on Paypal do not agree with what is displayed on the the Bill Me Later site so you cannot trust what you see on Paypal. In my case, Bill Me Later had different numbers which were very different and higher; they were charging me for amounts I did not owe, to which they had the nerve to add "late fees".
