I bought a used truck from Billion Auto in Sioux Falls using their internet sales. When the salesman contacted me I let him know of my interest in a truck and how much I was willing to pay. He called me back and said he found what I was looking for. He was friendly and even found me a very affordable rate. He delivered the vehicle to me and papers were signed. He also expressed to me that this was a very sharp truck and was inspected by their service department. A week after the sale my wife told me it seemed to be smoking. I looked at it and every time I started the truck it blew a thick cloud of smoke out the tail pipe. I called the dealer and left a message. I waited two days till I called again. I have never received a call back from Billion. I have called twice a week for the past two months and never received a call back. I finally went to Sioux Falls with the truck and they told me it was my problem since I didnt buy their warranty. I explained how long I had been trying to reach them and they said that this was unfortunate and they felt no obligation to fix the truck. I complained to the sales manager and he told me there was nothing they could do for me. So far I have changed the oil twice and had to add 6 quarts of oil in the 3 months I have owned this truck. Billion Auto has very poor customer service and are very rude when you do get to talk to someone. I recommend not buying any vehicle from this dealer no matter how nice it looks, as you dont know what will happen if there is a problem.

My parents bought a 93 GMC safari van from Billion GMC back in 1995. Ever since day one we had problems with it - rough ride even for a van, fuel injector problems, peeling paint, weird 4WD - we took it into the shop there almost every week and the van died on us halfway up to Fargo ND. That took several hours out of our time and that wasn't fun at all. We ended up selling the van to a couple for around $600 if I remember right about maybe 5 years ago. That van was the most expensive vehicle my parents bought in their lives. I think Billions makes good money but at the expense of a lot of mad customers. Sioux Falls has had some issues with dud cars and lemons being moved through here for quite some time. There's a huge auto auction lot just south of town that moves a lot of wrecked cars through and many of them are simply patched up, often minimally, and then they are sold to dealerships. They don't sell to the general public so that should be a warning bell to anyone.
