On 3 April, 2013 I went to a gun store in Tucson, Arizona with the intent to buy a new pistol. The store is named Black Weapons Armory at 5645 E. Broadway Blvd. and they specialize in AR stuff. The fellow I spoke to said he wasn't familiar with it as it had only recently been introduced to the marketplace. He said they had to order it and his dad said that they couldn't guarantee a delivery date and with me knowing what all the manufacturers were going through at the time, I went ahead and ordered it anyway, putting 50% down in cash and left the store.

The next week I went into Tucson to run some errands and I had the extra cash in my pocket and I was really excited about this new pistol so on my way out of town I stopped in to pay off the balance with the grand total being $692.79.   I waited about 6 or 7 months and I finally called them about my pistol and they said it still wasn't in. About 9 months went by and I sent a email to Rock Island Armory who manufactures it in the Philippines and asked if there were any production delays or problems and the fellow, Scott replied that "No, there aren't any problems" and that I should have gotten my pistol a long time ago.  I checked on line with Gunbroker.com and found that there were 8 or 10 stores across the country that had them in stock and ready to ship the next day for up to $150.00 LESS than what I paid Black Weapons Armory. I again stopped by the store and spoke once more to Tommy R. about my long missing gun and asked him if they couldn't just get one from one of the stores that did have them and he said no, because they wouldn't be able to make their usual profit.

Now it's been a full 368 days later and still no pistol.   About 2 weeks ago I saw a different pistol for sale in Pennsylvania that's a pretty hot seller and is hard to come by and the store, Wallenpaupack Sport in Hawley, PA., had one at a reasonable price so I comitted to buy it on a Saturday, called them Monday and paid for it and in less than a week it was in my hands and was running ammo through it. Apparently Black Weapons Armory has absolutely ZERO concerns with customer satisfaction and I will make every attempt to badmouth them at every chance I can. Badmouth you say? No, I just tell the TRUTH!

Attorney General sent me check for $692.79

I read on Channel 4 news a few days ago that the Arizona Attorney General's office had reached a setlement with the Black Weaoons Armory bandits for around $46,000 in July of this year. I emailed the A.G. inquiring about my money that the Rompel family had stolen from me and lo and behold, two days later I recieved a check in the mail from the state of Arizona for $692.79. The complaint against the Rompel pack of thieves is very likely closed for good now so if anyone failed to file a formal complaint with the A.G.'s office then they're likely S.O.L. now.

Arizona Attorney General is filing fraud charges

I just got an email from a channel 4 news reporter name Brett Buganski and he informed me that the Arizona Attorney General's office is filing consumer fraud charges against the thieves at Black Weapons Armory. He said that the fines against them would be $10,000 per fraud complaint. He said to try and get as many people who were screwed by Black Weapons Armory, who haven't yet come forward yet, to file a formal complaint with their office. This is an FYI to all the ones cheated.

Possible Legal Action

I got an email yesterday, 17 April 2015, from a person named Jeme Jordan who lives in the Tucson area (((redacted))) regarding my contacting a KVOA channel 4 investigative reporter named Brett Bugansky who was doing news stories about the theiving Tommy Rompel and lying family members. Jeme said there is an ongoing effort to get any other people who were screwed but didn't complain to contact him/her?? so as to get as many names and circumstances together so that pressure could be put on the Arizona Attorney General and the BATFE to file felony charges with a possible 25 year sentence against Tommy Rompel and his fellow fraudsters. Anybody anywhere who got cheated really needs to contact Jeme Jordan and bbuganski(at)kvoa(dot)com and tell them about their bad experiences in dealing with Black Weapons Armory and the Rompel clan of liars.   bee O bee, Vail, Arizona

This is an addendum to the original report I made regarding Black Weapons Armory on 5 April, 2014. I failed to include that after Tommy R. had told me that they wouldn't get the long awaited pistol from a different store because their normal profit was not attainable, he said that if I cancelled the original order they'd charge me a, get this, a 20% "cancellation penalty". To be fair, he said that they'd give me a store credit to buy a different item if I wanted to but at this point I don't want to spend a single dime in their store, EVER. This is $138.56 of MY money that they've had, as of today, for 380 days and STILL no gun. Sorry I didn't put this information in the original complaint.
