Complaint Review: Blue Aspen Plastic Surgery - Internet

This review was written by Deborah O'Gara-Schultz. She is a former employee, who worked in my office from July to October 2006. I discovered that she had a long history of identity theft, fraud and forgery. She was arrested in 2009 after she forged a physician's signature to obtain Botox and fillers for a spa she opened. In 2010, she was tried and found guilty of 3 felony offenses, including forgery and criminal impersonation. (Please google her name. You will see the multiple news reports of her arrest).

After she was arrested in 2009 and after she was convicted in 2010, she retaliated against me by writing slanderous and fabricated reviews about me on multiple websites. In her sentencing, the judge placed a No Contact order on her, forbidding her to write about me or my practice online or anywhere else, and forbidding her to contact my office. Despite this, she wrote these reviews and these websites refuse to remove them.  The claims she makes are all fabricated. Sadly, Deborah O'gara-Schultz is a sociopath, whose behavior caught up with her in 2010.

Well Very Concerned, I can think of a lot of other more colorful words to use to describe Dr. Ma besides "infamous". You're not alone in your plight; Dr. Ma has accumulated a fair number of victims from her personal and professional exploits. She's been booted from hospitals, personally attacked her fellow colleagues, and screwed up a few people with her medical procedures. Now her victims are turning posse! I'm not afraid of her just being covert for now. However; sites like this that she cannot manipulate are a good place to start. It drives her crazy.......... oh! wait she already is! It's classified as borderline. We watch her screen and scrutinize and try to manipulate every consumer site there is.... Dateless?; and get more and more paranoid as time goes on. And she / you should be with the number of toes she / you have stepped on in her / your life. On a lighter note We'd love to help you Very Concerned.  So maybe you can "StumbleUpon" on us and find some "Lucidsolutions". 

Dear Lucid, You clearly are not Debora Ma in disguise as "Lynn". I'm afraid part of your post was retracted. I'm also in fear of being the infamous (Dr) Debora Ma's next victim. She is a dangerous type of personality, very unstable. If you have knowledge of a way to round up all of her victims, I would be interested in a class action lawsuit. My sole purpose is to protect the public. It is horrible that she can post fake glowing reviews and have all the "real" ones retracted. That is why I wanted to post the recent real ones before she had an opportunity to have them removed. This web site is for the public as well and they will not buckle to her insanity. I actually thought I'd have my attorney put a newspaper ad in the local Boulder/Denver paper-however, he stated not that many people continue to get newspapers home delivered. So I'm at a loss as far as how to round up people who have been harmed by this Debora Ma. I have a hard time calling her a Dr. knowing her substandard patient care, aftercare and her obsessive personality disorder-in which her victims (in her warped mind) become "Liars"...I'm NOT THE LIAR, DEBORA MA IS A SKILLED LIAR! The only thing more scary is being her victim and her "credentials" making her more credible and her insurance having the brawn to dismiss the victim, who is claimed to be the LIAR. Any help in accomplishing restitution would be appreciated.

To the "anon" (Lynn) person who told me I ran head first over the slander line. She knows what she has done to everyone she has harmed. Patients come back to her for help, they are ignored and sent away.

Maybe if you are protecting a <bad> surgeon whom maims people and you think she's the victim of slander- you should look further into complaints of patients-or maybe those records have been removed from the office. (I believe Debora Ma distorts reality and has an issue with being honest-maybe she is even a little OCD about it-Please, note OCD is a symptom of a bigger problem-possibly bi-polar-which explains the way she treats people).

Heads Up Lynn, I'm not afraid of you or your ridiculous comments or your intimidation. Not too smart of you to fire back either! There's cameras all over-caught you going to the local hot spot...you're on tape and we can trace it back to you too-Gee, who shall we find?! Left your cell phone lying on a desk? Better get a prepaid disposable! Left your car parked in front of an office/business gone thru a light? Used your credit card-oops!? You aren’t removed from sanction either, my fellow poster. You have been recorded on video doing almost everything.

What are you trying to hide? What are you covering up? Remember that truth really is the best weapon for fighting a lie.

This is free speech and a public safety concern. No one should go to this woman-thinking she is a <skilled> plastic surgeon. Maybe this post will help avoid another innocent patient from potential bodily harm or bad results as they are only looking to restore their body. 

For anyone questioning the truth... "Anger at lies lasts forever. Anger at truth can't last". Greg Evans I only hope to shed some light and prevent some despair for people looking for truth-which when reviewing (as indicative by sites with reviews/postings) this Dr is VERY DIFFICULT to come by...

If she can't stand her patient’s results or comments- maybe she should do something else. Anyone reading this may always take note that any time a negative truth is presented on any rating site of Debora Ma- a contrary comment (and glowing review) that day or shortly thereafter on Debora Ma is posted-it's more than a coincident! Hey, I wonder if she has hired that service to inform her of postings or does she stalk sites herself?

What is this behavior all about?

It's an attempt to cover up the truth. A “lie of omission” is equally as blatant as a bold faced lie…which is self evident from all the postings on various Dr. review sites.

Be careful Interview at least 3 doctors-you are the customer and they own you the truth and they should be able to provide 3 references on the procedure you wish to have that they previously did…if they cannot or don’t, it’s easy “N-E-X-T” doctor-there are plenty of excellent Doctors in the area, try contacting:

Simply state the truth. Do not use harsh words. Do not get angry:Look at the anger a person "named Lynn" (aka Deb Ma and or loyal assoc) has posted...a threat, an attempt to intimidate-now that is grounds for provocation!

 "Truth is generally the best vindication against slander". Abraham Lincoln  "Words are cheap, but all the money in the world can't buy back an exposed lie!" -Noel Gallagher. 

My only concern is to expose what has happened as the truth, indicative below from other sites. I highly doubt Debora Ma does double breast mastectomies or mastectomies at all-that would be a general surgeon! Oops, forgot to clue in one of your dwindling loyal followers, Debora with your deceit? How long will you continue? Maybe Debora gets patients after the fact, (after the oncologist has done their job) for breast implants-but buyer beware. (let's see how quickly that one gets removed now) 

Maybe if one loves what one is doing but doesn't have the know how in conjunction with the skills of an artist-you could teach at a college level or something. I'm sure you love what you do-but you make too many mistakes with people's bodies that they must live with-2 words-foolish pride.Notice how some sites have claims of 12-18 reviews but only 3 are posted that are viewable?! What happens? How are there 18 and only 3 show up? What is going on??? Why are they all on the same day? Why are they immediately after a bad review? Here's your challenge...how many lawsuits has Debora Ma settled out of court?  Can you be honest? This is not out of malice but concern for the public.Let the lie be seen for what it is in time.

Furthermore Lynn: How dare you try to intimidate me and not allow me free speech! Chances are this post is from Debora Ma, or an employee (she <possibly> has duped) from Blue Aspen Plastic Surgery. You have a lot of covering up to do.

I rated this doctor poorly because she did not recognize that my breast reconstruction surgery was failing due to tissue necrosis. When I saw her during my first post op visit, I asked her why my skin flaps were sloughing and she said that was normal after breast surgery. A week later, I developed full blown tissue necrosis, she then had to excise the lower poles of both breast skin flaps and I am now left with extensive scarring. My new PS is not sure how we will finish the reconstruction if the scar tissue does not expand after he attempts to lower my tissue expanders. If this approach fails too, he is suggesting tissue transfers using my latissimus dorsis as the donor site. I face a very long and difficult breast reconstruction now and if Dr Ma had been able to recognize that the tissue sloughing was a sign that the circulation to the area was impaired, she could have relieved some of the tension on the site by removing some of the fluid from the tissue expanders.

I saw Debra Ma for a consult on a lower eye bleph. She convinced me to let her inject a long-term product, Sculptra, under my eyes/nasal fold/mouth areas. Within 4-6 weeks I had nodules, larger than pea-size, in all the areas she injected it. I saw her 2 weeks following injection and she injected saline to try and break up the larger lumps (no luck), then again at 4 weeks. At 3 months I saw her for the last time, when she said there was nothing she could do for me and "don't come back." I've conferred with two surgeons about having the lumps under my eyes surgically removed (will cost me $10,000). Both encouraged me to go back to Debra Ma again as they feel it's her responsibility to correct this horrible situation (the lumps under my eyes are really bad). I tried to make an appt last week and both her receptionist and nurse told me "Dr. Ma will not see you." It has been 30 months of hell for me and she has done nothing to make it right, and clearly won't. Don't see Debra Ma!!
