Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

They say you will be notified when your subscriptions will be renewing before charging your credit card (or bank or whatever method of payment you use), but they do not. So your subscriptions run on forever unless you are very dilligent about checking your accounts. They do not have good record-keeping skills, so they have a hard time researching your purchases, telling you when they will expire, or when they started, or if the same magazine will take up where the last order left off (consecutive rather than concurrent) if you renew early or subscribe from a nother vendor.

While I had been waiting a very long time for somene to get back with me to clarify the messed up state of my subscriptions and their records, I got a letter via "snail mail" (USPS) telling me there had been a breach of their customer's records, possibly including credit card info. It had been almost two months from the time the breach was discovered till when it was reported to customers. I told them that was completely unacceptable.

They asked what I expected them to do agout it! I suggested they pay for a free credit monitoring/identity theft service for a year, as Target (and other companies) had done when their security was breached. Blue dolphin said they would not be doing that, and couldn't offer me anything but an apology! I asked for a supervisor, who said the same thing.

Not acceptable! And they never did get back with me about the confusion over my subscriptions.
