Blue Whale Publishing beware of deceptive practices of this company Ft Lauderdale Florida
I did business with this company at least 5 years ago. It was the typical offer of making x # of payments for y # of weeks of magazines. I received a call that I was on the automatic renewal list and to get off he needed to confirm some information. Then he told me that I had to sign up again according to the old contract. The 49.90 for 16 weeks. This is not what i agreed to in the beginning. I contacted blue whale the next day to cancel and complain about the deceptive practice and the $50 dollar charge. She said it was just a hold. why 50, not the 49.90? She checked her computer and said there was no order, therefore could not give me a cancellation number. If i was under contract as the salesman said, wouldn't my name be on the computer? And if I was under automatic renewal, Why did some of my magazines subscriptions end? They may seem nice at first, but BEWARE of this company.
