After a long arduous 2 days spent calling everyone, being transferred nine different times, spending hours on hold; Ms. Ford saved the day!!! I suggest calling her immediately and working with her or whomever handles the fraud departments in the other 2 credit reporting firms. (Ms. Fords Direct Line at Experian is 972-390-4176) I cannot believe the audacity of these corporations (BMG&Columbia House) for the scam they pulled(or tried to pull) by messing with my credit. After a call to BMG who said that the account numbers didn't even belong to them -they belonged to Columbia House (even though BMG was the company posted on my credit report) Columbia House gives me the name of the Collections Agency Capital Assistance Group; which by the way also doesn't have an account number, a file or even my name anywhere in the system. Upon questioning all of the above named companies neither one could tell me who was responsible for putting that negative remark on my credit report or how to get rid of it. Thats where Ms. Ford comes in- in 5 minutes of explaining to her the run-around and the bullshit she puts one phone call in to BMG and since they started the same story with her she automatically had it stricken from my credit report. Now that's what I call service.
