A lot depends on how you are classified. If you are an employee they can be in serious trouble for bouncing/withholding Payroll checks and not paying taxes. So you need to contact your Local Labor Board as well as the IRS. If you don't know exactly how to contact them a good start would be your local Unemployment office as they should be able to guide you. In this case even if they have "dissolved" the business you may be able to recover. This also would most likely apply if you would legally be considered an employee by the IRS, but they are treating you like an Independent Contractor.
If you are an Independent Contractor, you are responsible to pay any taxes. And would need to take them to court yourself in order to recover any other monies owed to you. In this case if they did "dissolve" the company you may be out of luck.
