Bonaventure of Sparks Pam Gray, Kelley Hamilton, Jeremiah (Pam Gray's son), and the Lies, Resident illness, Call lights not working, Food for residents make them ill, Staff turnover is tremendous Salam Oregon
If you love the person you intend to put into a Bonaventure facility, please do not put them here. They will used all their money, not give the care as contracted, and your loved one will likely 1)die, 2)become very ill 3)be harmed physically, mentally and at times may even be tortured.
Should you doubt these acusations, please contact the Health and Human Services Dept. in Carson City, NV and request a copy of the reports done by the State Of Nevada, Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Health Care Quality and Compliance, 727 Fairview Drive, Suite E, Carson City, NV 89701.
First statement of deficiencies and plan of correction was completed 05/31/2012. Bonaventure of Sparks received a "D" rating. Please read ID Prefix tag # Y 590 through Y 743. Then decide if paying almost double the rate of most senior care facilities in the Reno, NV area is really worth the treatment your loved one may receive here at Bonaventure of Sparks.
If you think the physical beauty of the entrance to Bonaventure of Sparks is enough to sway you to put your loved one in Bonaventure of Sparks, please take the #4 elevator to the fourth floor. When stepping off the elevator look up. There is a sizable crack in the ceiling above the elevator that has been there for at least a year and a half. Yes, I personally reported this cracked ceiling to the staff at the front desk in January 2012.
Now, step down the hall to the end of the 4th floor. You will find at least 5 apartments without locks, or non-working locks. The apts. are in grave dissaray with appliances missing to shelves torn off the sink area where people sit to eat, etc.
The carpets have not been cleaned in the almost 3 years I have lived here. The food is usually served luke-warm or cold. Several of us residents have constant diarrhea related to the low quality food served to us.
The administration lies to us as if they don't know how to tell the truth. My husband and I were given a quote of the price of an apt. when we had to move from back east to Nevada due to my husbands illness. We were here no longer than a month when we were told a mistake was made on our quoted rent price. They raised our rent $500.00 without a blink of an eye.
Please don"t do this to someone you love. Its insanely cruel and totally uncaring administrative staff and corporative people care nothing about its residents. They care about the money and thats ALL they care about.
These people are mostly uneducated, underqualified, and your loved one will pay the price for all of it.
