Bootheel Internet harrassed, accused, billed me for other accounts, called me and I'm on the no call list Cape Girardeau Missouri
I had internet service turned on, but never got connected 2 days later I changed providers, but kept the email address for 2 weeks. Then I get a bill for $30.00 for 2 months of internet service. Not only would they not correct it, but had someone calling me from their home in the next town, claiming they were a collection agency.
They told me I had 2 accounts and that I owed nearly $50.00. When I told her to send me the paper work where I supposedly used another account, she quickly got off the phone. I also never received that paperwork.
Later, they tried to call me to solicit internet services, I'm on the no call list. That is illegal.

I was a customer of BOOTHELL Internet for 4 months.Each time I attempted to get online I had to sit through mind numbing slowness and costant disconnections. Needless to say, I found another ISP as soon as I could. They tried to harrass me too, but instead of calling me they sent me bills. I responded by calling them and informing them that they are just wasting a 37 cents by sending me bills because I was not going to pay another penny for their lousy service. In turn they sent me one more bill which stated that suddenly I owed them for 2 months worth of service, which I noticed they increased from $17.95 to $23.00, and tried to tack on two $5.00 late fees on top of that. This time I contacted the BBB and and for some odd reason I havent gotten another bill from Botthell since. You are lucky, you didnt have to suffer through their "techinal problems" for very long. But my advise to you is to show them they arent going to get away with harrassing you. They seem to think that if they continue to bother you, you're just going to hand over whatever they want. The reality is that once you show them you will not be bullied, they'll decide that $30 isnt worth more bad publicity. Hope this helps.
