I have been a faithful customer of Bounce Energy company for around three years. I had always paid my bill on time. I was laid off my job last month and for the first time called Bounce Energy and told them I would be behind paying my bill by $40.00. I was waiting for my unemployment to get set up.

This morning all of my utilities were shut off. I called Oncore and was told that Bounce Energy had submitted a disconnect request. I live in Dallas, TX and I only owed $40.00 which I had informed Bounce Energy I would pay the next week. It is in the middle of July and super hot. I know there are people with larger bills than my $40.00 and I could not understand why Bounce Energy would not work with me by giving me one more week to pay this.

My utilities were shut off at 7 a.m. Bounce Energy's offices did not open until 8 a.m. Something told me to go ahead and find another provider. While waiting for Bounce Energy to open I called First Choice Energy and they were super fast and professional. They informed me I would not have to pay a deposit and submitted a rush for my Utilities to be turned on. When 8 o'clock came I called Bounce Energy and asked to speak with a supervisor. While waiting for a supervisor all of my electricity came back on as Oncore had recieved the new order from First Choice.

I expressed my dissatisfaction with how my utilities were turned off for a late payment of $40.00 after I had been a customer for years. They did not care. Could have cared less.

I am happy to be a First Choice Customer now and I want to let everyone know to avoid Bounce Energy. They don't care about their customers. If you fall on a hard time they will NOT work with you. Their agents will only threaten you.

First Choice, like so many electricity providers, have stated they work with consumers who are a little bit behind

I don't have to wait to inform you of what First Choice will do if a person falls a little behind on their bill. Per The First Choice agents I have spoken to in great detail, they have a variety of payment options to assist customers who have fallen a little behind on their bill.

I'm sure you have never heard of this but guess what... MOST ELECTRIC COMPANIES DO.  Especially for amounts as small as $40.00. Certainly you can't be that niave to think that no one EVER falls behind on a utility bill. Or maybe you are.

And for your information, even the Bounce Energy associate was shocked that they would shut off my power for being $40.00 behind when I had never fallen behind before. Did that answer your question? It's called a...Wait for it.. Here it comes... "PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT".
