I don't have to wait to inform you of what First Choice will do if a person falls a little behind on their bill. Per The First Choice agents I have spoken to in great detail, they have a variety of payment options to assist customers who have fallen a little behind on their bill.
I'm sure you have never heard of this but guess what... MOST ELECTRIC COMPANIES DO. Especially for amounts as small as $40.00. Certainly you can't be that niave to think that no one EVER falls behind on a utility bill. Or maybe you are.
And for your information, even the Bounce Energy associate was shocked that they would shut off my power for being $40.00 behind when I had never fallen behind before. Did that answer your question? It's called a...Wait for it.. Here it comes... "PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT".
