I apologize for your negative experience with Bounce Energy. Without knowing your account information, it is difficult to provide resolution to your complaint. However, given the information you
provided, I can give you some insight.
The rate you enrolled at is Bounce Energys average rate at 2,000 kilowatt hours used. This rate is composed of an energy rate assessed by Bounce Energy (this rate will remain constant throughout your contract term) and TDU Fees billed by your Transmission Distribution Utility (Oncor, CenterPoint, AEP, or Texas New Mexico Power). Details of your energy and TDU charges were disclosed in your Electricity Facts Label that was mailed to you in your Welcome Packet approximately 1-2 weeks after you enrolled with Bounce Energy. Some TDU fees are calculated based on your amount of usage, while others are flat rates. Therefore these fees may vary from month to month which will affect your average rate. If you are a customer with low usage, you may find that your average price per kilowatt hour is higher as a result of the fees assessed by your TDU.
