My partner has had emails from TeamPoker Online Promotions, saying that he had won US$2,950,000.00, he replied to their emails, they then asked him for Identification and he sent them a scanned thing of his drivers licence, now just waiting a reply from them. I thought it was too good to be true so I thought I would look it up and I have found this. The same as Amy from Australia, the letters from Richard Bright. I just want to know what he can do, now they have his personal information? please can somebody help. He thought if they ask for his bankaccount details he wouldn't send them. But his drivers licence has al his personal details on it. Address, DOB, Drivers Licence Number. It makes me feel sick to the stomach just thinking what they will do with his information. Does anybody know what we can do? Thank you.

Dear Danielle, Thanks for filing your report. I am in Australia and this morning recieved an email from Teampoker Online Promotions stating that I had won US$2,950.000.00. The details are pretty much the same as what you stated except the names and numbers are different so I thought I would put them on here to help others as you have helped me. I was told to contact Mr Richard Bright on a number +27-83-523-5872 or email [email protected] and had a fax number +27-11-507-6737. At the bottom of the letter was signed, Sincerely, Mrs Rachael A. Siyabonga. Promotions Manager, Teampoker Online Promotions, 1212 Johannesburg Road, Parkview, Johannesburg 2190, South Africa. Like yourself, I have registered for lots of online research and survey companies and was unsure if I had really won something. i sent off an email in reply and curiosity got the better of me so i typed in claimsfiles.org (the email address i had to reply to)into a search engine and got nowhere and then typed in teampoker online and was directed to here. Thank You for letting us know about this scam and saving us time and money and high hopes. I thought it sounded too good or easy to be true. They will not see a cent of our hardearned money. Good luck to you and your hubby in fixing your house, I wish you all the best! Thank You Very Much!!!

Sorry, I made a mistake copying your words. Here is the corrected version: You made a wonderful decision not to spend $2500.00 of YOUR hard earned money and get nothing in return. Something else: I have never before heard about internet yellow pages for Africa. Thanks for the info.

As of answering your question: You made a wonderful decision not to spend $2500.00 of my hard earned money and get nothing in return. As wonderful as your decision to come here to report this scam. You already listed dozens of suspicious things in this scam. Let me ad one: No legal lottery, sweepstakes on the world ever request money to claim the prize.
