Why are you charging .10 to .20 cents more per gallon of gasoline in Lima, Ohio than you are in other areas? THIEVES!!!!!

They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Jerry West Their relationship to the company: Advocate Rebuttal: Meijer is one that simply follows the market price. They very rarely change before a competitor. If you were to own a Gas station or any other business for that matter, would you sell your product below the market price in your area? There is also very little margin in gasoline. It usually ranges from 2-20%, of course this depends on the market price. So to accuse any gasoline retailer of "ripping you off" is far from the truth. Try being in business with, more often than not, low margins and make enough to pay employees (with benefits), provide a clean, safe station, and have any profit left over for yourself or your corporation to stay in business.
