Brad Cummings
A former pastor for 12 years, Brad is the president of Windblown Media, the publishing company he founded in order to publish William P. Youngs popular best selling novel, The Shack. He also appears on The God Journey podcast. He was an executive producer for the recently released animated movie The Ten Commandments.
Thou shall not steal. Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
Based on the public statement concerning the lawsuit settlement for the Shack and what the quote says about the accounting, Brad still has 8 more commandments to obey.
How does someone become a former pastor? And what exactly is a former pastor? Maybe you can get rid of some of the commandments out of greed and convenience. Those commandments are just good for selling books and movies. They actually do not have to be followed. Right?

Author William P. Youngs contract dispute regarding his runaway
best-seller, The Shack, has been settled out of court.
Cummings did not respond to queries for comment.
Hachette Book Group, which in 2008 began to distribute The Shack, also
filed suit against Windblown Media to determine where
royalties should be paid and to protect itself from future lawsuits.
Nichole Daiger, communications/public relations specialist for Los
Angeles law firm Loeb & Loebwhich employs Youngs attorney, Michael
Andersonconfirmed that the case was settled, but said that the terms
are confidential, so unfortunately we are not able to provide any
comment or details.
The suits filed concerned more than $8 million in royalties. Youngs
contract had promised him 50 cents per paperback sale and $1 per
hardcover sale, and a third of net profits.
After we did an accounting, we recognized that he wasnt getting paid
anywhere near what he should, Anderson told Christian Retailing in
2010.
