We ordered skylights from Bradco....( they took their sweet time picking them up) My Husband picked them up in a parking lot that was busy ...he had to sign a paper, cold not inspect the skylights except to see that they were not busted ( they appered ok) however they had been at the bottom of a truck with boxes stacked on top of them. again my husband did not have time to inspect them and no one spoke english so he signed the paper and brought the skylights hom. when the roofer installed them there were some terrible stress fractures on one of them. My husband called Bradco the next day ...the lady ( Angie ) was horribly rude and was no help . I called that evening because I could not believe a company would behave this way. I spoke to Angie and she was extremly rude, they basically said that when my husband picked them up he "OKAYED THEM " and the rest was our responsibility. They said the roofer must have scratched them . However I watched the guy take them on the roof and that was not the case. These skylights were damaged when Bradco picked them up and they refuse to own up to it. they will not work with you and apparently do not care about customer satisfaction.

Resonse to consumer problems at Bradco Supply

I have done business with the Bradco Supply in question many times. Bradco Supply is a wholesale roofing supply. Thier customers are mostly professional roofing and or siding contractors. They are not a big box store servicing the "do it yourselfers." I have never had any problems with the staff or the manager, Angie. I have never met anyone at this location who can not CLEARLY speak english. I'm questioning why the skylight installer did not pick up the skylight and inspect it before installation. Is it possibly because he is not a professional himself. Why would he send his homeowner to a supply house for professionals to purchase a skylight? I'm betting it's because the homeowners were paying for the materials themselves in an attempt to save money by using someone who was much cheaper. Why didn't the installer inspect the skylight before putting it on the roof? No one could have accused him of damaging it while installing it if it had be returned with the original packaging. Bradco's mistake may have been selling the homeowner instead of sending them to the big box stores that only handle a very small selection of sizes and the cheapest quality. I have no problems with several returns made at this store.
