Brakes & Tunes Took my deposit & no delivery of vehicle. Later gave only partial refund. Chula Vista, California
Agreement was when I sell my car, I would buy his van. Gave a good faith deposit. That was in Dec '11. He kept stalling for 2.5 months till he could not deliver the vehicle to me and said he sold it back to the bank as it had a lien on it. No mention of my $1200 deposit and he did not have the money to purchase a replacement vehicle from an auction. Kept saying he did not have the money to pay me back. I was told to come on certain days to collect and he would never have the whole amount for me. I would have to beg just to get what is rightly mine! He still owes me $325. His demeanor has really changed. He use to be an honest person and its like he has taken to being a crook! He gave me two checks $800 & $354 and they both bounced!
