Braman and Sons LLC Todd Braman Roof Blew Off House, Roof Leaking, FELON who was told to NEVER work in NYS AGAIN! Rochester, Palmyra, Canandaigua, Fairport, New York
Paid 8400.00 for old roof tear off and new roof installation on 2500sqft home in Webster NY in November 2011.
Asked Todd Braman if it was OK to roof this late in season, was assured all good. Started with his tear off crew only half finishing job and left debris all over yard. Todd was out of touch after receiving first payment for a day. Guess he was hung over.
Finally fininshed roof after one week of misery. Installed roofing I purchased from supplier with ALL materials, ice and water shield, pipe boots, nails, underlayment etc.
First windstorm roof blew off house on west side. This uncovered his shoddy work.
Roof was never properly guarded. NO eve, rake or valley ice protection. NO protection at skylights or penetrations. Roofing not nailed on 2 ply and actually nailed through shingles. drip edge nailed on top of first course. Never started on straight line so roofing is on a slant. Water coming in on all sidewalls, skylights and penetrations BEFORE it blew off.
Never got a permit or inspection but claimed he did, never installed roof venting, part of contract and never fully fininhed the job. Left debris all around yard.
Todd is no where to be found and claims he is out of business and living in Mississippi. NOT an honest guy.
Todd has been ordered to never do this business in NYS according to other contractors in area. He changes companies, closing old opening new when things get too hot. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM!
