I was going to buy a miniature bull terrier dog for my girlfriend, i found someone that was selling one on puppyfind.com, so i contacted him, and we talked. So i sent him $650 usd through Western Union. Well we had many problems at first, then he finally said okay tomorrow morning I will email you your dogs flight information after a weeks worth of emails we had. So his very last email to me was "ok, tomorrow morning i am going to send you the dogs flight info, and number, and time." and this was on 12/29. I haven't heard from him since then, today is 1/8.

So this guy basically robbed me for $650. I need information on what I can do to get my dog, or money back. Thank you.

BUY BUYING ANYTHING FROM A PERSON OVER THE INTERNET DO YOUR RESEARCH THEY COULD BE TRYING TO SCAM YOU. THEY COULD BE SOME WHO JUST PUT AN PICTURE AND A DISCRIPTION ON A CLASSIFIED AD SITE AND TELLING YOU THAT THEY ARE SELLING IT. WHEN WHEN YOU SEND THEM MONEY IT'S GONE DAM 90% OF INTERNET CLASSIFIED SITES ARE PEOPLE DOING THAT AND I KNOW THAT FOR A FACT.. REMEMBER MY NAME IS MRS MICHELLE SMITH I USE TO BE A SCAMMER. THE FOUNDER OF THE SITE KNOWS ALL ABOUT ME AND HOW I AM TRYING TO HELP OTHERS. SO BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING SEND ANY MONEY CHECK THEM OUT. KEEP ALL OF THERE EMAILS THEY WILL COME IN HANDY MAKE SHOW YOU HAVE ATLEAST 3 VOICE RECOREDING LIKE WHEN HE CALLS LET YOUR VOICEMAIL PICK IT UP

I'm giving you the same lecture I give everyone -- DO NOT purchase a live animal via the Internet.

If you must purchase any companion animal, you should got to a reputable breeder, check the facilities where the dogs are kept, see BOTH the mother and the father, and, if the dog is registered, contact the association they claim to be registered through and see if they do actually have this person in their files and ask whether or not they have received any negative reports about this particular breeder. Enought soap box...you need to contact the AG's office in DC and in TX and file a fraud report. This guy stole your money. You should also contact your DA's office and find out if you can file a small claim against him where you are (I'm thinking you are going to have to go to where the breeder actually has his "business"). Good luck.
