Brenda A. Jacobs - The Platinum Event Wedding Planner took money and failed to deliver services or provide refund for renewal ceremony Houston Texas
My wife and I were planning a wedding renewal ceremony and we paid this woman Brenda A. Jacobs and her company The Platinum Event, over the course of 1 year over $3000 for the planning and organization of this event. Well 2 days before the event, she states she can't pull it off and says she will meet us with our money. When the time came to collect, she would not answer our calls, nor gave us service or our money back.
Her business is located at 181 W. Dyna Houston, TX 77039 and her home address is 7616 Darien St. Houston, TX 77028
My family had to pool our resources to make this event happen which has sent our household budget in a downward spiral. Upon contacting this woman she has stated that "I'm closing on this loan this day" or "I'll let you know when I will have it on ___day." We have sent her the demand letter and have filed with Harris County Courts and still have not had any resolution to this matter.
I don't know if you provide aid to the consumer, but I would like for my story to be heard. If anyone needs additional details, a description of this woman or anything else let me know. I would hate for anyone to continue as I have where we were planned for a scam by a crooked wedding planner.
