Brett Rutecky and his affiliate David Eisner sold me a software called FB Notification Pro for $47. I bought it, then clicked on the Access Purchase link provided. The link took me to Facebook, asking me for some kind of permissions. I accepted it, then nothing happened. I've never received access to the product.
I filed a dispute with Paypal and David Eisner gave a nasty response, calling me scammer. Why I'm a scammer for requesting access for the product I paid my hard earned money for is beyond me.
I then contacted Brett Rutecky. The first few emails, he sounded helpful, asking me a bunch of questions, but never actually resolved the problem. I still haven't got access to the software.
Then, he complained because I sent him more than one messages via more than one channels which I did. Before I received the first response from him, because I wanted to get access to what I paid, I did send several messages via emails, comments on his blog, private messages on forum.
I told him what he'd feel if he was in my shoes. Then he told me I was rude.
At this point, I got fed up, and told him to keep the money he conned me.
I would advise anyone to stay away from these shady individuals Brett Rutecky and David Eisner. Do a search on ripoffreport to see the existing reports against Brett Rutecky.
I paid my stupidity tax. But you won't have to.

Brett Rutecky and his affiliate David Eisner sold me a software called FB Notification Pro for $47
I did not sell you this software. Though I wrote it (I am a software developer), David is the one who was selling it. He is not an affiliate of mine, he is the product vendor. Please see your receipt ID and notice I am not listed as the seller. Its very irresponsible to complain about person B when your problem is obvously with person A. Sites like Rip Off report let people say anything they want with 100% anoniminity and without checking any facts. Because of this people often abuse these sites as a way to vent when they are angry. This leads to issues like you are experiencing. You bought a software from David and are complaining about me, when I did not even sell it to you.
I then contacted Brett Rutecky. The first few emails, he sounded helpful, asking me a bunch of questions, but never actually resolved the problem. I still haven't got access to the software
Though I was not the person who sold you the software because I wrote it for David to sell I did try to help you as much as possible. The assistance I could give was limited though because Im not the vendor. Since Im not the vendor I could not look up your purchase history etc.
At this point, I got fed up, and told him to keep the money he conned me.
As you where informed several times via email and as you obvously still do not understand I did not conn you out of anything, how could I when I did not sell you anything, there was no money for me to keep because you did not pay me any money, since as I said. I did not sell you this software.
Though I feel for your frustration it is very irresponsible of you to complain using my name for a product you purchased from David. David purchased the right to sell my software as his own product, you never paid me a dime, you where not my customer, and I did not sell you anything. I explained this to you in our email conversation but for some reason you could not grasp that developers can (and often do) license other people to sell their products. Im very sorry you had this poor experience with David. However I am not affiliated with David.
