6TH Request
To all concerned
In August of 2009 we ordered 18 pieces of furniture made by High Point, sold through Anytime Products and packaged and shipped by C H Robinson.
We never received this furniture until 3/5/2010. We received a 6 month run -a-round by Anytime Products of continual broken promises on delivery dates.
When we received the furniture on 3/5/2010, the packaging ( by C H Robinson) was inferior, the delivery instructions were not followed as the boxes appeared on the truck and several pieces of the furniture were damaged beyond use. Beyond all of this, the furniture that was damaged, exhibited poor quality workmanship with staples an glue bearly holding pieces together.
We are now experiencing another run-a-round of unanswered calls and = emails concerning the claim on the damaged furniture.
An inspector from M&S Inspections, inspected the furniture and packaging and issued his results on 3/25/2010. I then faxed a copy of this = inspection with the origional invoice and freight bill to Jim Chu & = Kevin Haas at CH Robinson, Chris at Anytime Products and Crystal at High Point Furniture.
Jim Chu of C H Robinsons repeatedly lied to me & told me he had filed the claim with UPS. Upon calling UPS on 4/13/2010 they stated the claim still had not been filed. To date 6/11/2010 the claim still has not been filed by C H Robinson. On 5/25/2010, I filed a claim with UPS for the full amount of this furniture including freight and will pursue legal action if necessary to receive a full refund for this shipment and this horrible excuse for furniture will be shipped back to the sender.
As a side note to High Point furniture, back in 2000 we purchased many pieces of the same type of furniture from National Business Furniture Made by High Point) and we were so please with it that we decided to order it again. I am sorry to say the quality is not the same anymore.
To C H Robinson and Anytime products your customer service need some serious attention.
On a final note, I am now being told by UPS that it will take some "MORE TIME" to process this mess.
