Bricktown Hotel & Convention Center - Shane Wohaub - Sheila Delong False Employment Promises - Hotel is not what they claim Oklahoma City Oklahoma
To all future potential employees/Patrons:
Please be aware that this company will promise you the best. If you work hard, you will be rewarded with your walking papers. I was promised by the Owners to have medical insurance and after 3 months, nothing, then a few weeks later, I was gone at their choice, after being told they want me to stay, but can't pay medical.
Also, they claim the hotel rooms are at 80% renovation or more, not, only 50 - 60% if you can believe that.
Tom Seabrooke is one owner that in my opinon made these false promises, I would not trust him or Dr. Hope that owns this Hotel.
I would not recommend working there as they have a proven track record of 3 months and out, no warning, no just reason. This is a company that is not viable for employment or for use in my opinion. They are too high for their conference room rental for an area that is run down, next to a truck stop, and outside their hotel shows its age.

Greg, I am in total agreement with you. I worked for this company for a period of 8 months, and in that time I saw everything from false advertising on the part of the ownership, to blatant employee abuse on the part of the management team. I would not wish employment by this company upon even my worst enemy. I was very professional when I announced my resignation, I left the company for a better paying position in another industry, and was subjected to abuse, and threats to stay with the company. They even called me after my shifts and at home on my personal time to execute these atrocities. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody, not because of the employees but because of the management and the ownership.
